This is why I don't play goalkeeper! On our women's indoor team, we don't have a goalie, so we switch off every 5 minutes or so. During my turn, a girl nailed it from about 4 feet away from me! I naturally was going for it with my feet and it happened to catch my arm. Don't worry though...it didn't go in! I just couldn't move my arm for about 10 minutes! (Jason A. you will appreciate the pain only it is usually on your thighs!) And yes, the shape is still there today only the lines are purple.

i used to play goalie sometimes, too. i remember the welts. yeesh.
now that i look more closely-are those the outlines of the ball in your arm?!? wowza. . . .
