Nursing school

It is my 2nd semester of nursing school. It is a love hate relationship. At least I have my two great friends in nursing with me...Angie and Kristi. They keep me sane and we can vent to each other about everything. We have finished our OR rotation and are now on both Pediatric at Primary Children's and Mom/baby & Labor/delivery at Utah Valley Regional. Peds is fun, but way different than what I am used to. It is such a different atmosphere at Primary's and there are just sick kids everywhere. You feel so much worse for the little kids than for adults! Mom/baby is just normal because sometimes I will get pulled up there for work. I did get into huge trouble though by my nazi instructor for leaving my stethascope at home! Oops! She is a very scary lady! I told Nate last night that if he is super overprotective of the baby in the hospital I will send him home! I had a patient yesterday and the new dad about drove me crazy! He would say "Oh no he just sneezed 3 times...is that normal!!!???", and "make sure you hold his head up so it doesn't flop!!!" I wanted to kill him! School is going good though, just super busy and no breaks! In fact, I am sitting in lecture right now writing this! Hahaha!

So does watching any of those labors scare you at all?! Are you going to have an epidural? I'm jealous of you, it all sounds so interesting to be doing all of that nursing stuff!

Good use of time Sunny. In case Nate hasnt told you...we are having another kid this year. Maybe ours will be a boy too and they can be little buddies.

Are you going to be our nurse when we have the baby in August?

We all need to get together soon. Sheena and I want to see your house too. Say sup to Nate and baby-nate

Incidentally... You took care of my Brother in law when he was recovering from surgery after he broke his leg in 4 places snowboarding over the holiday break. He said you did a fantastic job, but he was embarrassed about being in the hospital gown.
